Upcoming Bewitched Book In the Works by Gina Meyers

 

Making the time to work on the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Bewitched with a special edition of my Bewitched compilation. 

Here is a brief introduction to my work.

1. The original script title for Bewitched was The Witches of Westport.

2. Bewitched was a Screen Gems Production.

3. The original pilot script had the main character names as Darrin and Cassandra Douglas.

4. Elizabeth Montgomery was married to Bewitched’s director, William Asher.

5. 306 episodes of Bewitched were filmed, however, only 254 aired.

6. The first 74 episodes of Bewitched were filmed in Black and White. Color technology hadn’t been developed for television yet. 

7. William Asher and Elizabeth Montgomery created a production company entitled, Ashmont Productions.
